Hon. Justice Olabode A. Adegbehingbe was born on 1st August, 1965 in Ondo, Ondo West Local Government in Ondo State.
He is a Judicial Officer in the High Court of Ondo State, having been appointed as such and sworn-in on 19th July, 2002. He attended:
a. St. Luke’s Demonstration Primary School, Molete, Ibadan, Oyo State.
b. St. Theresa’s Primary School, Marine Beach, Apapa, Lagos State.
c. St. Joseph’s College, Ondo.
d. Ondo State College of Arts and Science, Ikare-Akoko.
e. University of Ife/Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Oyo State.
f. Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos.
g. Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Oyo State.
He was called to the Nigerian Bar on 03/11/1988.
He is married to Dr. Stella A. Adegbehingbe and they are blessed with children.
Among other responsibilities discharged, he has served as:
i. Member of the Ad-hoc Committee of the Ondo State Judicial Service Commission on Promotion of Staff.
ii. Chairman of the Gombe State National and State Assemblies’ Election Petition Tribunal.
iii. Member I in the Gombe State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal – 2011.
iv. Member I in the Akwa Ibom State National and State Assemblies Election Petition Tribunal.
v. Chairman of the Ondo State Government Committee on Administration of Justice in Ondo State.
vi. Member of the Editorial Board, Owena Press Limited, Akure, Ondo State.
vii. Member, Ondo State Investment Monitoring Group, Governor’s Office, Alagbaka, Akure, Ondo State.
viii. Chairman, Organising Committee of the Administration of Justice Stakeholders’ Workshop held between 09/04/2013-11/04/2013.
ix. Chairman, Committee on Welfare of Judges of the Ondo State Judiciary and the Judges' Recreation Centre.
x. Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Chief Judge's Annual Seminar for 2017.
xi. Chairman of the Chief Judge's Drafting Committee on the Ondo State High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules, 2019.
His lordship is a co-author of a book: The Evolution of Ondo Kingdom, Published by Spectrum Books, 2013 (Contributed Chapter 10 - Administration of Justice in Ondo Kingdom and Literate Age).
